Supertype

Yours is the last known surviving station against the unstoppable AI threat. Can you survive in the infinite universe, all alone against impossible odds? Use tech found from your enemies' ships to upgrade your own into a Supertype ship capable of defending humanity's last stand.

Supertype is a solo project prototyping a game idea revolving around defeating hordes of enemies and upgrading the player's ship.

Acquire scrap from defeated enemies and use that scrap at your station to upgrade your ship.

Venture further from your station to engage faster and more dangerous enemies, risking the destruction of your station in the process. Were you really alone out in the universe?

Controls

Movement: Ship rotates to mouse cursor position.

[ESC] Open menu

[LeftMouse] Fire weapon

[RightMouse or W] Accelerate

[E] Access station

[Q] Repulse ability

Known Bugs:

Maxing out "Pierce" before maxing out "Multishot" prevents more "Multishot" upgrades from spawning; obtain the 5-shot "Multishot" before maxing "Pierce" to negate the issue (unfortunately, this is random).
